Angela is a seasoned education reporter with many years writing on the wider topic of education but with a focus on career development. Angela holds a Bachelor of Arts, History, (Waikato University), Graduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching (University of Auckland) Graduate Diploma in Journalism, (ATI now AUT) Graduate Certificate in Career Development (AUT).
She wrote for the New Zealand Herald‘s career pages for many years and has worked on a number of resources and publications for Careers NZ.
For some eight or so years Angela has contracted to Te Pou as a writer regularly producing resources that support and develop the mental health addiction and disability workforces in New Zealand. She believes in the power of telling a good story that informs, enlightens and provides a personal touch.
In her spare time, Angela loves being active, particularly by walking and tramping into New Zealand’s wilderness.
