Maggie is a highly skilled writer with a background in print and digital journalism. She’s an experienced copywriter and editor, who has an excellent eye for detail. She also has experience in website maintenance and electronic newsletters.
Maggie’s career began with a stint in communications at the Ministry for the Environment in her hometown of Wellington before taking up a post as a features writer at the Shanghai Daily in China on an Asia New Zealand Foundation scholarship. She returned to New Zealand and worked at the New Zealand Press Association, the NZ Herald and Yahoo! NZ.
She has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Psychology from Victoria University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Massey University. She is also a qualified ESOL teacher.
